Enrolment letters of class confirmation start arriving on the week commencing 17th January 2011.

Late enrolments are available on Saturday 29th January 9.00am – 12.30pm (Enrolment forms are available from the website and can be posted to the HSM) and the school shop will be open at the same time for the purchase of music books.

Saturday classes commence on 12th February (Hire instruments can be collected in the Library area)

Tuesday classes commence on 15th February (Hire instruments can be collected in the Library area)

• Annual General Meeting Saturday 19 March at 9.30am (HSM)
• Concert #1 Saturday 25th June at 10.00am (All Saints Church) (Youth Orchestra, HSM Concert Band, Symphony Orchestra, Levels 2, 4 & AIP)
• Senior Solo Competition Tuesday May 24th at 6.30pm (Music Room – Howick Intermediate School)
• Concert #2 Saturday 20th August at 10.00am (All Saints Church)
(Training Band, Wind Band, Junior String Orchestra and Stages 1, 3 & 5)
• Concert #3 Saturday 10 September at 10.00am (HSM – main Hall) (PIP, IDP/Recorder, Choir, Keyboard and Guitar classes)
• Junior Solo Competition Saturday 12th November at 2.30pm
• Concert #4 Saturday 26th November at 7.00pm (All Saints Church) (HSM End-of-Year Concert featuring the Youth Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra, HSM Concert Band, Wind Band, Junior String Orchestra and selected soloists)
• Hired Instruments to be returned to HSM on Saturday December 3rd

Public Holidays

In addition to school holidays there will be no classes held on public holidays: - Easter Weekend, Queens Birthday Weekend and Labour Weekend
